The Ambience Dashy widget lets you play a variety of white noises or soft music to help keep you focused.

How does the Ambience Dashy widget work?

Many of us like to work with some sort of noise to help keep us focused, but get distracted too easily from listening to our favorite songs. The Ambience widget is built to provide a calm white-noise style work environment. You can select from a number of different soft noises such as Rain, Ocean, Forest, or even the gentle rumbling of a Train if you’re into that sort of thing. For those who want some soft tunes to help keep you focus you can try out the Lofi option.

Once you have expanded the widget, just click on the sound you want to play in the background and hit play. There is also a handy volume bar so you can set your vibes to anything from a whisper to irreparable hearing loss without interfering with the rest of your computer’s volume settings.
